1.4 million jobs and over 36 billion in government revenue in oil drilling

Since the Offshore Drilling Moratorium was Imposed it is estimated the Gulf Coast area lost around 12,000 jobs and 1.1 billion worth of wages lost. Again, this is just around the Gul Coast.

However a new study by consulting firm Wood Mackenzie, and paid for by the American Petroleum Institute showed that if the regulations on oil would be lifted it could create 1.4 million jobs and over 36 billion in government revenue. However this would take a lot of policy changing by the Obama administration.

The study outlines a “development policy case” that includes opening up areas where drilling is now off-limits, including the Atlantic and Pacific Coast, Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) and the eastern Gulf of Mexico.

The “development” case would also include expanded access in the Rocky Mountains, the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska and off the coast of Alaska.
Other policies that the study models include allowing shale gas drilling in New York; faster permitting in the Gulf of Mexico, where leasing already occurs; federal approval for the controversial Keystone XL pipeline to link Canada’s oil sands crude to Gulf Coast refineries; and other steps. Wood Mackenzie estimates these steps would create roughly 1.1 million jobs by 2020, and produce an additional 1.27 million barrels of oil-equivalent (BOE) per day by 2015 and 4.19 million BOE in 2020, even more by 2030.

This is just the start of the benefits we as Americans can benefit from lifting oil drilling regulations. Keep in mind this is just one industry that our current liberal government has destroyed. Over the years many has been affected. From coal mining to building ships. America is destroying itself with its own regulations and socialism type policies against businessmen and entrepreneurs. Our country has vast amounts of resources and if allowed to be exploited from the earth would rebuild our economy and wealth let alone offer millions of jobs and more products, better and cheaper products for the consumer.

Always remember, “The American Dream”.

Big government control the gaps between what the rich have and what the poor have.

Big government control the gaps between what the rich have and what the poor have.

Here we go again with the idiot liberals picking on the rich. Who most rich people worked for it by using their creative minds and working like a dog to build their companies and produce their product in which their minds help to develop.
Did you know according to the government what they call poor is defined as this.
A poor household is declared to have only a refrigerator, a clothes washer, a stove, a DVD, a couple color Tvs, and a microwave.

Ask yourself how many basic common American citizens have cable and internet? Yep a ton. This so called poor man is able to obtain medical care and home is generally in good condition. Also did you know from the governments stand point that around 40% of people that are considered poor OWN THEIR HOMES. Hardly the poverty level they speak of on TV huh? Please! very few are actually poor in America. The American poor is not real poverty, look around the world. The difference is maybe a wealthy man may drive a corvette and a poor man drives a Toyota or Honda. Again still hardly poor. But don’t take my word for it, research it yourself. Remember the idiotic left is complaining that America is obesity, that’s the main nutrition problem facing the poor and all Americans, not hunger. But its ok because miss Obama will step in to tell you how to raise and feed your kids since your to stupid to, least that’s what the liberals believe.
Sorry idiot liberals if you haven’t caught up with the times. Back 100 years ago a rich man drove and a poor man walked and not all have the luxury of central heating and cooling in their homes. But thanks to that advancement in technology and thanks to that thing we call capitalism and free markets, OUR LIVES HAVE IMPROVED! So back off with your big government control.

Ronnie Bryant walks out on opening coal mine.

“Nearly every day without fail … men stream to these [mining] operations looking for work in Walker County. They can’t pay their mortgage. They can’t pay their car note. They can’t feed their families. They don’t have health insurance. And as I stand here today, I just — you know — what’s the use?
I got a permit to open up an underground coal mine that would employ probably 125 people. They’d be paid wages from $50,000 to $150,000 a year. We would consume probably $50 million to $60 million in consumables a year, putting more men to work.
And my only idea today is to go home. What’s the use? I see these guys — I see them with tears in their eyes — looking for work. And if there’s so much opposition to these guys making a living, I feel like there’s no need in me putting out the effort to provide work for them. So ... basically what I’ve decided is not to open the mine. I’m just quitting. Thank you.”

The following was said by Ronnie Bryant in a public hearing concerning opening a coal mine in Birmingham. Bryant sat for two hours while environmentalist trashed talked and slandered industrial businessmen. So when it became his turn to step up to the mic, he set it straight. This is a great example of how bad government regulations has gotten. It takes an act of congress to mine coal even though our resources are plentiful. Same way with oil drilling. We buy our oil from other countries including our enemies when we have an abundant amount to consume right here in our own country. Take a look at just these two industries that could provide jobs and can turn around our economy. People wonder why America in falling behind in the industrial setting. Take a good look at your government.

Big government protects the economy against big business.

Big government protects the economy against big business.

How long are you going to ride that scooter? You need to get a little more intellectual because I am about to destroy your lie. The largest companies in the United states can not compare to the power of the government. The government will never go out of business, they just keep writing checks their ass cant cash. However big businesses can go out of business because of the free trade market and competition. DUH! Do some of you remember Atari? How about Montgomery Wards? Sears? All about to fall or had to change their product or join together like Sears and K mart.
Even if businesses are large and successful nothing makes you buy their product. Is it mandatory you buy from Microsoft? Dell? Or General motors? NO! You can take your business else where if you so choose. But the government on the other hand could make it mandatory for you to buy this or that by regulation and laws they pass to get their greedy hands in your pocket book. The government isn’t affected by quality product control of the free market. All private businesses are. NEXT!
